I’m partnered with a Large Pharmaceutical organisation based in Cambridge. They are looking for a Compliance & Governance Director with the following skills to join their team for a 12 Month Contract with the flexibility of working 4 days in office and one day from home, Paying £550 – £600 a day.
Key responsibilities:Responsible for the Governance & Compliance strategy and delivery business-wide.Responsible for the communication and collaboration management of one or more providers/outsourcing models within R&DWork with the group head to set up / ensure the strategic aims for the provider and are metEnsures the maintenance and oversight of provider/model, ensuring seamless execution, quality and timely delivery of relevant scope of work deliverablesPartner with the project teams to define the service deliverables in alignment with the project requirementsDefines and monitors performance via relevant metrics, measures, and health checksPartners with other internal teams (eg. Procurement, PES) to ensure fit for purpose systems, processes & toolsEnsures ongoing assessment of new opportunities & lessons learned to drive efficienciesServes as point of contact for issue escalation and key in identifying solutionsFosters the development of a collaborative, organizational culture and ensures successful relationships by developing strong partnershipsServes as a delegate for the functional head for specific tasks or activities, as necessary
ExperienceUniversity degree in a related discipline, or equivalentStrong experience from within the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research organizationGood knowledge of clinical and pharmaceutical drug development process at various phases of developmentExperience of working successfully with external partnersAbility to apply strategic direction to a team or project and generate new optionsStrong project management skillsInfluencing skillsExperience working with Senior-level stakeholdersLeadership skills, including the ability to solve problems that involve many decision-makers, and develop multiple options/recommendationsStrong communication, negotiation, networking, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
